Homemade hair masks for your own hair type
We all have our own unique hair type, and especially during different times of the year, it can get unruly and out of control. We created these custom masks to cater to five different hair types.
Damaged Hair
Recipe:
1 Egg Yolk
2 Tbsp. Coconut Oil
1 Tbsp. Honey
Double recipe for long hair. Combine ingredients in a blender or whisk ingredients together until well-blended. Apply the mask evenly throughout damp hair, making sure to cover damaged ends. If you have long hair, tie it up. Then, cover hair with a shower cap or towel and let the mask sit for 30 minutes. Wash out the mask with shampoo and conditioner. For best results, apply the mask once weekly.
Complete the treatment with natural Dry Hair Shampoo & Conditioner
Curly Hair
Recipe:
1 Egg
2 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Tbsp. Honey
Double recipe for long hair. Combine ingredients in a blender or whisk ingredients together until well-blended. Apply the mask evenly throughout damp hair. If you have long hair, tie it up. Then, cover hair with a shower cap or towel and let the mask sit for 30 minutes. Wash out the mask with shampoo and conditioner. For best results, apply the mask once weekly.
Natural Hair
Recipe:
1/2 Sliced Avocado
1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. Coconut Oil
1 Tbsp. Honey
Double recipe for long hair. Combine ingredients in a blender or mash avocado and whisk ingredients together until well-blended. Apply the mask evenly throughout damp hair. If you have long hair, tie it up. Then, cover hair with a shower cap or towel and let the mask sit for 30 minutes. Wash out the mask with a cleansing conditioner or co-wash. For best results, apply the mask once weekly.

Frizzy Hair
Recipe:
1 Sliced Banana
2 Tbsp. Plain Yogurt
1 Tbsp. Honey

Oily Hair

1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Juiced Lemon
1 Tbsp. Honey

Then, cover hair with a shower cap or towel and let the mask sit for 30 minutes. Wash out the mask with shampoo & conditioner. For best results, apply the mask once weekly.
