Why Natural cosmetics?

I created ‘Pure” with a desire to create a high quality skin, Pregnancy and babies  care products using only all natural ingredients, that help promote healthy, beautiful skin without any chemicals or artificial preservatives and without harming the environment.

The products base on natural oils butters etc, and essential oils to stimulate the senses and lift the soul.

They are enriched with highly concentrated anti aging materials.
Those are all anti oxidants and/or materials with biological activity, generally present in our tissue.

The products are perfume and colorants free and are not tested on animals.

Ingredients you can find in "Pure" products:

Shea Butter

Moisturizing,anti-aging, helps regulate the amount of sebum the skin produces. It also softens and soothes irritated and inflamed skin and even reduces the appearance of scars, blemishes, acne, and brown spots.

Seaweed gel

Deep cleans and hydration to the skin. Contains lots of Minerals, Proteins, Vitamins, Amino acid etc.

Vitamin E

an effective antioxidant slows down the oxidation processes and inhibits premature aging.

Carrier oils

A carrier oil is a vegetable oil derived from the fatty portion of a plant, usually from the seeds, kernels or the nuts.
use to "carry" the essential oils and also have many benefits of their own, each carrier oil has a different benefit but they all contains minerals, vitamins and moisturizing.

Sweet Almonds Oil

Sweet almond oil is obtained from the dried kernels of the almond tree and it is an excellent emollient (softening and soothing to the skin) and also helps the skin to balance its loss and absorption of moisture.
It is further a great moisturizer suitable for all skin types, helps relieve irritation, inflammation and itching, and is greatly lubricating and because it is not an overly fast penetrating oil, it is a good massage medium to use to help spread the oil and essential oil mixture, while still allowing you time to do a good massage before it is absorbed by the skin.
Not only does almond oil help protect the surface of the skin, but has great value to act as an emollient, skin soother and softener while conditioning the skin and promoting a clear young looking complexion, also helps to relieve muscular aches and pains.
Apricot Oil- easily absorbed by the skin without leaving it feeling oily and that is high in poly-unsaturated fatty acids, that is specifically beneficial when doing facial massage, then look no further than apricot kernel oil.
It is particularly helpful for dehydrated, delicate, mature and sensitive skin, and it helps to sooth inflammation. This finely textured oil spreads easily and is particularly rich in both oleic acid and linoleic acid.

Calandula Oil

Calendula has great anti-inflammatory properties and vulnerary properties, making it excellent for help with stubborn wounds, ulcers, bed sores, varicose veins, bruises, rashes, eczema etc.
This oil is great to help with sore, inflamed and itchy skin conditions, also for burns, eczema and nappy rash, as well as sore cracked nipples.
Evening Primrose Oil-  Evening primrose oil is exceptionally high in fatty acids, and especially in gamma linolenic acid (GLA) which nutrition wise is important to the body, as it affects many of the enzyme functions in the body.
has superb moisturizing properties and used externally it is indicated as effective in helping with eczema and psoriasis.

Grape Seeds Oil

This carrier oil has a fine texture and is almost odorless, light in texture and is easily absorbed by the skin.
It has mildly astringent qualities which help to tighten and tone the skin, which makes it useful for acne and other skin complaints.
It is rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid quite important for the skin and the cell membranes.
Grape seed oil has regenerative and restructuring virtues and has great skin moisturizing properties.
Jojoba Oil- In reality jojoba oil is not an oil but a liquid wax .it is an extremely stable substance and does not easily deteriorate and the structure closely resembles that of your own skin sebum, making it an excellent moisturizer and ideal for all skin types.
It contains myristic acid which also has anti-inflammatory actions and since it has a similar in composition to that of the skin's own oils, it is quickly absorbed and is excellent for dry and mature skins as well as inflamed conditions.

Macademia Oil

It is one of the few plant oils that contains high amounts of palmitoleic acid, which is also normally found in the sebum of man, and this oil therefore has a great affinity to our own skin.
It is very emollient, and is therefore great for dry and ageing skin.
In aged skins, where sebum production has reduced, Macadamia oil can be of great benefit.

Rosehip Oil

has gained great popularity because it has some great rejuvenating properties and is helpful with fighting sun damage to the skin.
It is high in GLA, and helps reduce the signs of ageing, especially the fine lines around the eyes  and lines around the mouth, the drying effects of the sun and climate, as well as assisting with attenuating both accidental and surgical scars.
It helps the skin heal and regenerate and prevents the formation of ugly keloid scar tissue (thickening of the skin when forming scar tissue) and is helpful in healing burns, scars and stretch marks.

Sesame Oil

This oil is sometimes found to be strong smelling by some, yet is a good source of vitamins E and B complex and minerals such as calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. Sesame oil further contains protein as well as lecithin.
Although it is a thick oil it is used for eczema, psoriasis as well as older and mature skin and it contains excellent moisturizing properties.

Wheatgerm Oil

All wheatgerm oil is made from the "germ" of the wheat – the heart of it.   Although the germ only constitutes 3% of the weight of a wheat grain, it contains nearly 25% of the protein, vitamins and minerals.
The oil is very high in vitamin E and essential fatty acids and because of its high vitamin E content, which is a natural antioxidant which helps to prevent rancidity, it is often added to other carrier oils to help lengthen their shelf life and to prevent them going off.
When it is applied topically on to the skin it helps promote the formation of new cells, improve circulation, and to help repair sun damage to the skin. It is also used to help relieve the symptoms of dermatitis.

Essential oils

Essential oils, known as nature’s living energy, are the natural, aromatic volatile liquids found in shrubs, flowers, trees, roots, bushes, and seeds.
Essential oils are extracted from aromatic plant sources via steam distillation, and are highly concentrated and far more potent than dry herbs.
Historically, essential oils have played a prominent role in everyday life. With more than 200 references to aromatics, incense, and ointments throughout the Bible, essential oils are said to be used for anointing and healing the sick. Today, essential oils are used for aromatherapy, massage therapy, emotional health, personal care, nutritional supplements, household solutions, and much more.

Here is a list of just a few essential oils I use in my products:

Angelica Seeds

A powerful female oil produced from the root of  angelica.
Strengthens, encourages, supports, enhances the power of the living and increases the immune level.

Use in natural cosmetics: itchy skin redness, treat wounds .

Bergamot

Oil produced from the bark of citrus.
A positive effect on psyche and skin, antiseptic, soothes itching and irritation, cleansing the body of toxins.

Chamomile Roman

Oil produced from Roman chamomile plant flowers.
Soothing, anti-inflammatory, great for children and babies.

Good for all skin types. Particularly delicate skin, itchy skin, skin infections, acne, dermatitis, diaper rash, stretch marks, abdominal pain and helps to calm gazes in babies.

Cedarwood Atlas

Strengthens and releases, warming, relaxing the body and mind, anti – depression, anti anxiety, strengthens the nervous system, soothes itching and treats skin problems from stress.

Uses in natural cosmetics: dry, cracked skin, skin inflammation, skin allergies, itching skin, psoriasis, Asborah

Cinnamon

Invigorating, warming at first and then a fridge (by sweating), blood thinner, blood flow accelerates, open appetite, mood enhancer

Uses in natural cosmetics: for all skin types. Especially suitable for cold types.

Cypress- Alarm

strengthens blood vessels, suitable for  the balance of fat secretion glands, treats hemorrhoids and puffy bags under the eyes.

Use in natural cosmetics:  large skin pores, oily skin, dry skin (with jojoba or wheat germ), Reddish skin with Koprose.

Frankincense

Nurturing  and capable of mind and physical cleansing, anti-inflammatory, soothing pimples and redness, prevent wrinkles and dryness, anti – aging.

Use in natural cosmetics: skin adult or adolescent (age 40 +), dry skin, inflamed skin, redness and irritated, small pimples.

Helychrysum

Helichrysum is the oil of choice for healing scar tissue, whether from a recent wound, operation, or tissue that has been scarred for years. It stops bleeding, helps a scab to form and tissue to repair itself. It can be added to a carrier oil and applied to stretch marks, acne scars, surgical scars, and wounds of all kinds.
It also has remarkable effects on sensitive and inflamed skin.

Eucalyptus

antiseptic, opens the airways, stimulates, increases blood circulation, increases energy toward the head, helps skin problems, excellent for strengthening the hair roots and prevent dropouts.
Use in natural cosmetics: for all skin types. Treatment of asthma of the skin, skin allergies, burns cold sores, herpes sores.

Geranium

Called "woman's oil" and able to highlight the beauty of every woman. Hormonal balance, soothing and increases tone returns. Excellent prolonged stress situations.
Use in natural cosmetics: for all skin types.

Grapefruit

Balance, refreshing, uplifting and improves mood, improves metabolism, drains toxins and purifies the blood, relieves symptoms of premenstrual and menopause in women, helps weight loss.

Use in natural cosmetics: for all skin types. Especially suitable for oily skin and for treatment of cellulite.

Jasmine absolut

Soothes, stimulates birth, sexual stimulant, prevents wrinkles by relaxing facial muscles, stimulates cell regeneration, anti – aging, for stimuli, redness and dermatitis

Use in natural cosmetics: for all skin types. especially tired skin and aging skin.

Lavender

was called the "king of essential oils. "
Restores (wounds, infections, burns), stops bleeding, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, lowers fever, relaxes.
Lavender trees and author well the attributes of any essential oils that are with him in a mixture. Can be used directly on the skin.

Lemon

Relaxing, re- tissues, skin discolorations, disinfects wounds, blistered skin care.

Use in natural cosmetics: for all skin types. Especially uneven skin tone or with acne.

Lemongrass

Stimulant, relieves redness and irritated skin, constricted, diuretic – clears toxins, neutralizes bad odors

Use in natural cosmetics: for all skin types. Especially those suffering from skin diseases like psoriasis and eczema.

Mandarin

improves and elevates mood, improves skin elasticity, anti – aging, balance sebum secretion.

Use in natural cosmetics: for all skin types. Particularly suitable for older skin, heavy fall, for pregnant women to prevent stretch marks.

Neroli

Soothes, improves skin texture and touch, giving the skin a radiant tense, anti – aging, elevated mood, kills viruses and accelerates the skin cells that renewal.

Use in natural cosmetics: for all skin types especially tired  and aging skin, sensitive, itchy and dry. Suitable for the treatment of acne dermatitis.

Orange

Stimulates, refreshes, improves mood, drying pimples, balance sebum secretion, re- cells.

Use in natural cosmetics: Oily and acne Skin, stretch marks, old skin, dermatitis.

Patchouli

Soothes, strengthens, anti-bacterial and tissue restorative, sexual stimulant, appetite suppressant, speeds up regeneration.

Use in natural cosmetics: inflammatory skin problems, hot Reddish skin, acne, Koprose, eczema.

Peppermint- Stimulant, cooling, refresh, anesthetic, treats flea mosquito bites, raising energy. Expands the pores of the skin, blood purifier.

Rose Absolut

An elevated mood, increased self-love, soothing, anti – inflammatory, keeps the skin moist and prevents dehydration, prevents wrinkles.

Use in natural cosmetics: for all skin types. Especially suitable for dry, red, itchy and burn skin.

Sandelwood

Strengthens, anti-viral and anti-infectious, allows self-reflection ( good for meditation).

Use in natural cosmetics: Reddish sensitive skin with tendency to dryness mainly due to stress.

Tea- Tree

Stimulant, antiseptic, anti-infectious, anti-fungal, purifies, strengthens the immune system, reduces fever, closes wounds

Use in natural cosmetics for acne , herpes bites.

Ylang-Ylang   

Dominant sweet-smelling.
Deeply relaxing, increases sexual desire, anti – aging, balance the secretion of fat.

Use in natural cosmetics: skin involved,  aging and tired skin, skin with acne.
