So you want to clean your beauty products but you’re feeling overwhelmed. That’s OK…. Just as a green lawn starts with a seed and the right conditions to  grow, you can’t go 100% green in an instant. So, start small, and start by  replacing three regularly used products for a healthier and greener you.

1) Perfume:

behind this simple word hide 200 chemical products that are unabashedly unlisted. Some problems cause by these chemical products are: headaches, dizziness, hyper-pigmentation, violent cough, vomiting and skin irritation.  Synthetic fragrances are made to mimic the scents of vanilla, wild flowers or  spice … but they often aren’t made from the real thing.

Plus, fragrance is something you put on almost everyday — and for some  people, multiple times and in multiple places on their body.  these products aren’t legally required to list ingredients so companies can  protect trade secrets, access to an ingredients list isn’t even an option.

My suggestion: A Natural Body Mist

2) Face Creams:

Face lotion is rubbed into the skin, and remains on the skin for the longest,  giving chemicals maximum time and opportunity to be absorbed into the skin.

The list of chemicals and bad ingredients is countless, things like: Parabens    that uses as a preservative to longer shelf life.    It forms an oily layer on the skin and traps moisture under the skin thus preventing the skin from breathing. At the same time, it stops toxins and wastes from escaping. Causes testicular tumors in the fetus prevent absorption of vitamin A from the intestines, Propylene glycol and lanolin are also used for the same purpose.   Propylene glycol is a recognized neurotoxin and is known to cause contact dermatitis at  very low concentrations.   Lanolin is an animal product that can be contaminated with pesticides.  It may also cause  allergies….and more and more

My suggestion : Natural Day &Night Face Cream

3) Deodorant

The most active and effective ingredient in non-green deodorants is aluminum.
theres a link between aluminum and breast cancer. Its use in deordorants blocks the pores of the skin preventing toxins from being excreted. The toxins then go to the closest fat reserve: the breasts.Heavy concentrations may be linked to Alzheimer’s dementia.

My seggestion: Natural Deodorant
