Wake up glowing with an overnight mask!

Sometimes the restless night of sleep, late night out, or early morning wake up call is evident on our face. When we sleep our skin goes into repair mode and when we shorten those hours of rest, we are shortening the time our body gets to rebalance itself. Beauty recipes like overnight mask have a better chance of making a difference on tired, dull or over stressed skin and hair.

Hydrating Honey overnight Mask

Have you ever slept in a facial mask?  Your sheets might need changing in the morning, but it’s well worth the extra load of laundry.

Vitamin E is a wonderful way to hydrate our skin. This mask will leave your skin moisturized and glowing when you wake up. You can use a little less honey if you’re worried about the consistency while you sleep.

  • 1 teaspoon vitamin E oil (about 3 vitamin E capsules)
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/4 avocado

Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and apply to your face and neck for noght or for 10-15 minutes, rinse off with warm water.

Overnight Shea Butter Hands And Feet Mask

There’s no reason this buttery heel balm can’t be used for feet and hands overnight!

  • 2 oz shea butter
  • 2 oz coconut oil
  • 2 oz jojoba oil
  • 5 drops lavender essential oil

Combine the shea butter, coconut oil and jojoba oil in a pan over low heat to melt completely. Once melted, remove from heat to slightly cool before adding the lavender essential oil. Pour mixture into smaller container and allow to cool completely. Use the balm nightly. Apply Feet cream if wanted for a complete treat!
