This vanilla almonds smoothie tastes like a birthday cupcake, and is perfect for either breakfast or a post-workout snack.
This smoothie packed with protein and nutrients, but it’s not thick and heavy, which is a problem I’ve had with other smoothie recipes I’ve tried in the past. Also, we all know that finding frozen fruits can be difficult right now, so make your own by slicing fresh bananas and freezing them in a re-usable bag.
Do yourself a favor and start the day off with some feel-good (and actually good for you) empowering you!
Sometimes you think – how can something so like a sugary cake can be as well so healthy for you?..
Vegan Vanilla Almond Recipe :
3/4 cup organic Almonds milk
1 very ripe banana (frozen recommended)
1 3/4 Tbsp. almond butter
1 Tbsp. maple syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. almond extract
Optional toppings: coconut whipped cream (coco whip!), chopped nuts, high quality dark chocolate chips:)
Add all ingredients to blender, mix for 20-30 seconds or until banana slices are fully blended, and enjoy!
